The most important thing you can do is to become vocal and visible...let your voice be heard in Albany. Tell them that you support this important bill and want to see it become law in New York State. It will help if you become familiar with the process on how a bill like this goes through the steps to become a law.

Next, find your Representative in the State Assembly by going to the NY Assembly Member Locator. Enter your zipcode to find the individual.
Then, contact your representative in the NY Assembly, letting them know about your support for the bill and how you would like them to support it as well.

Now, contact all the members of the Transportation Committee and the Chairman of that committee, requesting favorable and swift support for A.B. 6484.

What is the best way to make contact?
